Position Title: Administrative Assistant

Position Summary/ Job Purpose: SAXOTECH is seeking a talented Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will assist with a variety of office support and administrative duties for the management team and maintain all office processes. The Assistant is responsible for composing a variety of correspondence, relaying and resolving routine inquiries, scheduling calendar items and meetings, making travel arrangements, and editing and proofreading documents to ensure accuracy. The Assistant will utilize their skills and expertise to provide much needed support that will make a difference to the organization. The ideal candidate should be positive, detail-oriented, a great multi-tasker and team player.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide general office and administrative support to members of the management team.
  2. Greet and direct visitors.
  3. Assist with travel arrangements for internal and external customers, either directly or through travel agent(s).
  4. Arrange meetings, schedule interviews and appointments, and perform other duties related to maintaining one or more individual's schedules.
  5. Answer main SAXOTECH phone line and route calls accordingly.
  6. Assist Human Resources in preparing correspondence to applicants, setting up agendas, maintaining the candidate flow, and other areas of HR.

Position Title: Online Support Specialist
Department: Online Services
Reports to: Manager of Online Services

Position Summary/ Job Purpose: SAXOTECH is seeking an Online Support Specialist to provide product support to customers via the telephone and/or Internet (e.g., Jira, instant message, email). This position assesses nature of product or service issues and resolves extremely technical or sophisticated support problems; maintains log of product issues and conveys customer feedback to product development staff; possesses expert knowledge of SAXOTECH's products; may assist team members who are troubleshooting problems; requires moderate skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline; conducts tasks and assignments as directed. Works with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to installed customers via the telephone and internet, including after hours support as defined by SAXOTECH.
  • Becomes proficient with the SAXOTECH product this position will support, as well as beginning to learn the remaining SAXOTECH products.
  • Becomes proficient with the company's internal IT and support systems (ex. JIRA, Confluence)
  • Will become proficient in required remote contribution systems (ex. VPN, remote desktop)
  • As new features are added, must maintain excellent knowledge of the products supported.
  • Will communicate with customers on a regular basis as the assigned account representative.
  • Will work directly with other support personnel, other departments, and on occasion directly with Development to effectively communicate and escalate issues to resolution.
  • Will work closely with the data/integrations team on integration-related support issues.
  • Will be accountable for individual and team metrics such as closed calls, response time, call update time, as well a customer satisfaction.
  • Will generate or review knowledge items for the knowledge base, tips of the week, or other technical references.
  • Will assist in and eventually lead implementation projects for new customers.
  • Will become knowledgeable of the appropriate hosting / production environments and individual server roles.
  • Travel to customer sites on an as needed, limited basis.
  • Write / produce procedural documents as required.

  • A.S. in a technical discipline or demonstrated equivalent ability
  • Experience in a technical support environment. This should include some knowledge of relational databases like SQL, MySQL as well as experience in either web development (HTML and JavaScript, PHP, or VBScript).
