Another significant development in the mobile channel space today, as Gannett announced the launch of more than 100 local content WAP sites.

SAXOTECH first showed WAP channel management as a feature of our online presentation platform in 2001 at Nexpo in New Orleans, and it's nice to see consumer adoption. Gannett standardized online channel presentation using our system for just about all of its dailies a couple of years ago, making deployment of mobile sites a straightforward process.
